🌱 Farm adds it 🚚 Distributor adds it 🔬 Lab / COA adds it 🏪 Retailer adds it 🏛️ Regulatory (always required)
The big idea: almost everything a customer relies on — the potency numbers, the COA QR, the "tested by" line — is added at the lab step, not by the farm or the store. The farm supplies identity (UID, batch, who grew it), the distributor supplies packaging + the regulatory warnings, the lab supplies the proof, and the retailer just adds the point-of-sale layer. The UID QR ties the physical package back to the 1A4 track-and-trace record; the COA QR opens the lab results; a store QR is an optional marketing add-on.
